About our Church
We’re glad you’re checking out our Hope Lutheran Church website, especially if you are looking for a church home. We would love to have you join us!
Hope Lutheran Church is a member of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. The word “synod” means “walking together,” and members of our synod hold to a shared confession of Jesus Christ as taught in Holy Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls us by the Gospel — the good news that Jesus lived, died, and rose again from the dead for our salvation from sin — and that He enlightens us with His gifts of Word and Sacraments.
Join us this Sunday as we gather around God’s Word. Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m., and Divine Service starts at 10:30 a.m.
Our Pastor
Pastor Iromar Schreiber was born in southeast Brazil. He first came to southwest Missouri as a sabbatical pastor for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield. He was called to Hope first as an interim pastor, then as a permanent pastor. He has served in that position since 2014.
